The real life aircraft looks amazing, and Aerobask did a pretty good job making a fun aircraft out of it for X-Plane.
Just drop the Panthera folder into an X-Plane Aircraft folder of your choice. Also, updating should now no longer require redownloading. The X-Updater plugin is included and seems to work properly.
This plugin will update the plane. However, after every update you will still need to reactivate, it seems.
Document wise, Aerobask has you covered pretty well. Featuring extensive documentation for the GTN and Skyview systems, as well as checklists, manual for the plane itself, recommended settings, flight planning and a small explanation of the quick look views, there is no shortage of documentation. This is a pretty easy plane to fly and move around on the ground.
It starts rolling quite easily and turns smoothly. Turns can be a bit dangerous, because you do not want to go too fast; turning tends to be a little ineffective, especially when only using nose wheel steering instead of both that and the rudder.
Alternatively, at lower speeds the plane is easy to turn, while not turning on a dime as some other planes seem to like doing. Dropping or raising flaps has a significant impact as is common for GA aircraft, so keep an eye out for that as well. It can overshoot your intended course, but usually does a good job of keeping on the flight line. It never seems to overshoot or undershoot the altitude and does a nice job of correcting for crosswinds; even when they get heavy. Keeping the power in and controlling your pitch is essential, as it can catch you off guard with ease.
Flaring a little bit before landing, at the right speed, should make sure you can touch down fairly easily and gracefully. It may not be smart to cut the throttle completely, but once you get good enough at it, you can land it sort of like a Cessna; let it stall onto the runway. This can be tricky, as the front visibility in the Panthera is a little poor, due to the high panels and engine; looking forward while descending nose-up at a low speed, or flaring, is challenging.
Over the years, Aerobask has improved their modeling dramatically. What I mean by the plasticky look is quite easy: some models, especially in XP10 before PBR, tended to look like a semi-glossy plastic.
Moving on to the interior on the Panthera v3, it is gorgeous.Am a relatively new user to X-Plane I have the default C working well and am considering purchase of other add-on aircraft that use the great GTN Any advice would be wonderful. Not very many. I think someone also modded the Aerobask Panthera with both.
The native payware integrations are the latest Carenado stuff and Justflights Arrow. Ryan Butterworth i7 K 4. Thank you. Pity there are so few given how easy the GTN is to use with a touchscreen monitor. Beats having to play around with mice and rotating knobs and cursors to try to program in a flight plan.
Pipistrel Panthera v3
Developers should offer this as a standard feature, in my view. This: Rwdesigns Dash 6 Twin Otter. I totally misread the OP's question Still trying to figure out if it's possible. Good Grief! I almost forgot - the Carenada S Citation v1. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.

I fell off my chair when I saw it was released and I'm still over the moon about it now. And this company deserves so much more limelight that what it's getting.
The panthera is a necessity to any x-plane user. Wow - just wow!!! Have spent the last 2 hours with the Panthera 3. Awesome job by the development team! Very, very impressed!!! Already purchased and loving it.
Looks great, flies great and the information at your fingertips is terrific. Being in Australia I will need to go through the process of loading up all the charts for that.
Thanks again. This plane is superb! Coming from their Victory jet the avionics are easy to use. Thanks Aerobask! I am a huge fan of sexy fast GA piston singles! It's really quite nice. I've just spent the last hour playing with their GTN implementation.Only a week after the release of Aerobask's excellent Pipistrel Panthera v3.
Here is another fully featured aircraft in the Eclipse NG and a great companion to their Panthera it is. Sadly the Eclipse Aerospace company is now no more as they went bankrupt insome aircraft were built, and the business is still in officially chapter 7 bankruptcy, but you never know. This was another aircraft caught up in the "Air-Taxi" fiasco as Day Jet which had orders for the aircraft also went bankrupt incausing a ripple through the "Air'Taxi" concept. In March the company announced that production would end after four more aircraft are completed, to concentrate production on the new "Canada" model of the aircraft.
Which is impressive performance for such a small aircraft. With X-Plane11 going into release all developers are now providing two aircraft files for both X-Plane10 and X-Plane My version came with X-Plane10 as default, but you can switch to either X-Plane version of the one you require. You need to first remove the current. I chose the X-Plane11 version as noted here, and you still have the X-Plane10 file if you want to switch over later to the older simulator version.
Aerobask specialise in these light composite aircraft categories, and they do them very well. This aircraft was not released until X-Plane11 went final, so yes it is X-Plane11 compatible and it is also optimised with PBR support. A walkaround reveals another beautiful design from Aerobask.
Detailing is superb. Window frames are also well done and authentic. Fine external detailing like the lighting houses and the static wicks is excellent as well and to the level of quality we expect in X-Plane today and from Aerobask.
Metalness and chrome is in the new toolset that developers can now use and put to great use here on the Eclipse undercarriage components, the front strut is a beautifully molded support as is the trailing rear wheel gear support. The aircraft comes with a lot of features and a great polished tablet menu system. There is a tab lower left of your screen, or the tablet is positioned by the door for use.
Ground tab includes; Static Elements including chocks, tags, engine covers and cones. Weight is an excellent weight and balances sheet.Features Version 1. Optimized for VR. The intuitive touchscreen controls and large display give you unprecedented access to high-resolution terrain mapping, graphical flight planning, geo-referenced charting, advanced navigation and more.
In short, there is simply no better GTN Touch simulation, period. With a wealth of multifunction display capabilities, the GTN brings enhanced situational awareness to your cockpit. Graphical flight planning capabilities allow you to preview your entire route on the map screen and easily enter new waypoints or modify existing ones. A handy "rubber band" feature lets you grab any leg of your flight plan route and move it to accommodate a deviation to your flight plan.
With the GTN, you can set your standby Com frequency simply by touching the onscreen number pad. Another touch of the screen flip-flops your active and standby frequencies. Recent and favorite user frequencies also are a breeze to access. In addition, precise course deviation and roll steering outputs can be coupled to the simulator autopilot so that IFR flight procedures may be flown automatically.
The modern panel assistant for Flight Simulator and Prepar3D manages any aircraft panel in a few mouse clicks. Once selected, the panel wizard opens and guides you through.
When you've reviewed the changes the assistant updates the panel and reloads the aircraft automatically so that you resume your flight exactly where you've left a few seconds ago! Select your product and press the button to start downloading the e-commerce software.
